I've been busy working and doing things around the house but when it comes to posting on my blog, I'm a little lazy sometimes. There's always something to talk or bitch about, I just don't take time out to do it. Anyway, with that said, I'll try to catch up.
My mother has been sick lately with broncitis and respiratory infection. They had to take her off the patch because it was breaking her skin out. For a while she would get sick at her stomach a lot but since they took her off the patch, I don't think shes got sick as much. Shes on a pill now and I don't remember the name. They also changed her mental medicine about the same time and I was really pissed. She's not herself but the Dr. said to wait until she gets better from her infection and see how she acts.
This is all confusing..When she says things that don't make since, I don't know if its the demincia or the mental illness or both. The nurse says the dimincia will progress as time goes on and that the medicine just slows it down or something like that.
In the meantime. there's the good ol medicaid and ss . About the time I think we have the red tape done, something else pops up. Now they want me to apply her for VA benefits and I have 30 days to get it done or she doesn't get her medicaid.
Its like they do everything not to help people that need it instead of trying to help. I wish they would have done all this when she first went in there and it could be done now. there's no telling what the VA is going to want.I'll probably have to find all my Dads records.
I already tried to get her help from VA after my Dad died because the SS cut her income so bad..and you might know..she had too much income.
In the meantime, I'm still trying to keep up with my internet stuff. I've been taking surveys to make a little extra. Some of them are only open til they reach a certain quota and sometimes I don't qualify but every little bit helps so I have to stay on top of them.
I had to put my plans to sell my houses on hold for a while longer. I just can't deal with that too right now. I have a friend at work who wants to rent one but I don't have it ready, yet. I started working on it and had to get the electricity repaired in the other one. Then a hot water heater. Its just been one thing after another.
I'm through venting for now. I'm off today and need to clean house.
