Thought I would post a little update. My mother is still in the hospital but doing much better. I won't be able to leave her home alone anymore and I can't afford sitters even if I could find one. Our friends are busy with their own lives and there's no family here so we've decided to put her in a nursing home.
I haven't told her yet but they're getting ready to discharge her so I'm going to try to talk to her today about it. I told them yesterday she was coming home but after thinking about it more, I don't see how I can do it.
I have to work and if I miss too much, they may move me which would lower my classification and pay. Until I get this place sold, I can't afford a cut in pay especially now that I'll be paying all the bills.
On the brighter side, they did a great job getting her back to herself best they could. She knows whos who and whats what and even seems stronger so thats good.
I've been on vacation this week. I just hung around the house and went to the hospital every day. I couldn't really get motivated to do much else. Been stressed out for some reason.
I think I'll go get a bite of breakfast before going back to the hospital.

Hi Tere love...glad to here mum's doing better and is well enough to be discharged from the hospital. I'd a feeling you would have to put her in a nursing home, it's a lot to take on by yourself and would mean you wouldn't be able to work, you'd be her full time carer if she came back home, i know it's gonna be hard love but it's the best solution you have at the moment, i just hope mum sees it that way and knows you only want the best for her, good luck telling her love!
Maybe once you get the house sold you could move nearer your son and his family, you'd have a bit of help then, at least there'd be other to visit mum and give you a day off now and again. Hope every thing goes well and mum's health continues to improve...take care love.
